Recycling Franchise Moves into Miami.

Recycling Franchise Moves into Miami. An Australian franchise has made its success in recycling and refilling printer cartridges to offer the public a less expensive alternative to new cartridge dealers. Cartridge World was founded in Adelaide in 1988 and began franchising in 1997. Recently, it has expanded into the United States with an outpost in California and two new master franchisees in Southern Florida. Customers can bring printer cartridges to their local Cartridge World dealer and have them refilled for one-half the cost of buying a new cartridge. Because new printer cartridges can cost $30 to $40, the new franchisees hope that a demand for these services will develop; they hope to open eight stores in Florida before the end of the year.
