McDonald's tests high-tech cooking: In a company-wide push for change, a McDonald's in Romeoville, IL will test an automated grill system later this year. Developed in Sweden, the grill dispenses burgers directly onto the grill surface from a separate freezer compartment, ideally resulting in fresher food and reduced labor.
