Yum! profits drop: Yum! Brands Inc., the parent company of KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell, announced a lower net profit than last year's figures, largely due to costs associated with the lawsuit and judgment in favor of two men who claimed to have created Taco Bell's famous talking Chihuahua (see earlier W&D blog entry).
