In yet another suit in California, employees of a restaurant chain have sued their employer, claiming they were improperly denied overtime wages under California law. The lawsuit against Claim Jumper Restaurants, like the lawsuits against CKE Enterprises, Inc. and Pizza Hut, claims that past and present assistant kitchen managers were denied overtime although they spent more than half their time on non-supervisory tasks. This suit was certified as a class action on September 30 in Orange County, California.
